Orientation
Which Pokebonk is the real one?
Several browser games borrow the name, the survivors formula or the Pokémon theme. Here is how to tell Charcher's original apart from lookalikes before you spend a run on the wrong site.
Original
The original
Pokebonk is made by Charcher and published at pokebonk.com. It is free, non-commercial, runs in the browser, and its legal notice describes an unofficial fan project with no affiliation to Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company.
Three checks
- 1The address bar reads pokebonk.com, not a lookalike domain.
- 2A Beta version number and a What's new panel are visible under the logo.
- 3The legal notice credits Charcher and links the official Discord.
| Name | What it is | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Pokebonk | Charcher's original 3D survivor, 151 Kanto partners, free in the browser. | Original |
| PokéSurvivor | A separate fan game with a much larger roster and its own progression systems. | Different game |
| Clones and bundles | Renamed copies, mod menus and download bundles that reuse the name or assets. | Avoid |
| Independent wikis | Independent guide sites, including this one. They do not host the game. | Guide only |
Red flags
No legitimate version asks you to download an executable, install an extension, pay for a starter or hand over your account password outside the game's own login.
