Pokebonk patch notes and version history
Summaries of the official release notes, dated and linked to the guides they affect. Reported changes are kept separate from anything we verified in game.
Current build
v0.7.3
The public version button shows this build. We re-check it before publishing data changes.
The log below covers the release notes we could read and attribute.
Release history
- v0.7.2Checked
Leaderboard cleanup and stronger protection
- The official notes report 47 accounts suspended for cheating and their leaderboard records removed.
- Cleared positions include #1 in Viridian Forest (Normal and Nightmare) and Rocky Desert (Nightmare), plus several Pokémon leaderboard slots.
- Additional anti-cheating protection is described without publishing how it works.
- These are reported removals, not a guarantee that a specific rank or score changed for you.
- v0.6.4Checked
Review, interface and Safari audio
- Fewer legitimate runs are incorrectly sent for review, particularly on poor connections.
- Settings → Interface can hide corner run items; the pause panel still lists them.
- Safari is reported to recover audio automatically after switching windows.
- v0.6.3Checked
Recovered results and stricter validation
- Recovered run results were being rejected after the game closed; the notes report that this is fixed and affected results were saved.
- Validation is stricter for edited currency and for zones cleared without dealing damage.
- v0.6.2Checked
Training rewards, mouse bindings and auto-run
- Long-run Training rewards now have a lower bound: later levels should give at least one third of the first level's reward.
- Actions can be bound to middle, right and side mouse buttons.
- Auto-run is limited to the current run, shows an indicator, and cancels when moving backwards.
- Fixes for effects carrying into the next run and for disappearing text in Save to account.
- v0.6.1Checked
Guest progress and upgrade choices
- A Guest-progress fix around Exit and signing back in.
- Full card offers are restored when only one move slot remains.
- Big-map bindings are editable and move-learning identities are clearer.
- Fixes involving capture targets, item labels, overlapping items and unintended card navigation.
- v0.6.0Checked
Explored-only maps and a mobile fix
- The big map and minimap now show only explored information; the guardian altar, portal and remaining zone contents are no longer revealed in advance.
- This supersedes the earlier map-reveal claim from v0.5.7.
- A mobile home-screen flicker with Battery saver enabled is reported fixed.
- v0.5.6–0.5.8Checked
Results, loading and settings
- Earned run results are recorded after returning from a closed or reloaded browser.
- Loading waits for assets and repeat downloads after updates are reduced.
- Adds a big map, move-learning and run-build views, configurable inputs and aiming options.
- Adds Hide my attacks to Graphics, with separate own-attack opacity.
- v0.5.3Checked
Stacking and item limits
- Same-kind bonuses add rather than repeatedly multiply.
- Item maxima are enforced: Ditto should not copy full items and Meowth should not sell them.
- These are reported balance rules, not a test of every combination or vitamin cap.
How to read this log
Release notes describe what the developer reports. They do not prove that a specific save was restored or that a balance change feels the same on your device. Test in your own session before relying on a change.
